Grace Gane Memorial Lecture Award
The lecture takes place at the biennial NZSTA conference by an individual who has made a significant contribution to speech-language therapy in New Zealand and/or internationally through teaching, promotion of the profession, research or clinical advancements.
Marion Saunders Award
Excellence in Speech-Language Therapy Practice Award
This award is for an innovative project that clearly demonstrates clinical/practice application and impact within the New Zealand context.
Practitioner - Clinical Field Supervisors Award
For therapists who demonstrate significant contributions to the development of speech-language therapists through excellent field supervision by offering frequent placement opportunities for students, showing innovation and initiative in their supervision practices, and consistently upholding professional and ethical standards.

Student Achievement Award
New in 2007, this award recognises the work of one outstanding speech-language therapy student, from each of the NZSTA-accredited university programmes, in their final year of study.
