This course is designed for speech-language therapists (SLTs) working with tamariki and rangatahi aged 7-18 who stutter, or those SLTs looking to expand their knowledge of stuttering in this age group. We’ll cover the basics of stuttering, explore key considerations when working with this age range, and dive into the important role we play as SLTs in supporting those who stutter. You’ll also get a look at the latest evidence about stuttering therapy for this age group. We recommend this course for new graduates or those new to working with tamariki and rangatahi who stutter. This course contains 13 individual lessons and should take approximately 90 minutes to complete.
