2026 Te Tiriti Based Futures + Anti-racism online conference
Nau mai, haere mai. Te Tiriti Based futures + Anti-racism online conference runs over 6 days in March 2026. We operate under the whakatauākī: Hei kanohi mataara, hei ringa whiti. Eyes wide open, ready for action. This open access event is free to all, both within Aotearoa New Zealand and further afield.
Register to attend over 25 webinars, a rangatahi and youth research day, and connect with our 65+ partners and other attendees.
Topics include institutional racism and anti-racism, decolonisation, building Te Tiriti Based futures and transforming our constitution. Overseas presenters also discuss lessons for Aotearoa from their experiences with these issues.
After the event, most of the webinars recordings will be uploaded to YouTube. These will be a permanent resource for anti-racist activism and Te Tiriti education.
The organisers are a group of Māori and tangata Tiriti with experience in activism, research and community development. With your help, we hope that Te Tiriti-based Futures + Anti-Racism will continue to be a biennial event.
