An evidence-based professional development program, Learning Language and Loving It™ – The Hanen Program® for Early Childhood Educators is introduced. This program reflects Tier 1 of the Response to Intervention framework and provides training in supporting children’s social, language and literacy skills. Video examples demonstrate the strategies and their impact on teacher-child interactions.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Explain the importance of high-quality teacher-child interactions to children’s language development
  2. Describe responsive interactions strategies that facilitate interactions and children’s language learning
  3. Identify ways teachers can build meaningful interactions in small groups
  4. List four adult education principles that are applied in the Learning Language and Loving It™ Program
  5. Explain how Learning Language and Loving It™ reflects an effective Tier 1 program

Eligibility for Refunds (non-members):

  • Full Refund: If you cancel your registration more than 14 days before the course start date, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • Partial Refund: If you cancel within 14 days of the course start date, you are eligible for a 50% refund of the course fee.
  • No Refund: No refunds will be issued if you cancel on or after the course start date.
