Are you a speech-language therapist with a passion for communication, connection, and community? Join the New Zealand Speech-language Therapists’ Association (NZSTA) in a unique, purpose-driven role that supports and grows the SLT profession across Aotearoa.

We’re looking for a creative and organised professional to coordinate member engagement, strategic communications, and public awareness initiatives. This is a varied role that offers plenty of scope to shape how we connect with our members and the wider public.

What you’ll do:

  • Support area and student reps to strengthen our member network
  • Manage membership pathways and CPD processes
  • Help deliver events, campaigns, and awareness initiatives
  • Contribute to public and media communications about SLT

What you’ll bring:

  • A recognised qualification in speech-language therapy
  • Strong written communication and digital media skills
  • Experience in communications, project coordination, or membership services
  • Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and commitment to culturally safe practice
