Speech-Language Therapist- Adult dysphagia

We are looking for an NZSTA registered Speech-language Therapist to join our dedicated and supportive team. We have had a part-time role 14hrs/week from February 2025 - November 2025 open up (with the option to continue year to year). It is possible to work a mixture of on-site and from home for this particular role, with the opportunity to pick up additional hours if desired. This role is working with adult dysphagia for our client base with intellectual disability in Auckland.

About us

The Speech-language Therapy (SLT) team working for Swallow and Speech Therapy Consultants (SSTC) currently provides SLT services to adults living in Long Term Residential Care Facilities. We also work across a range of specialist areas including neurodegenerative diseases, adult Intellectual Disability, stroke, oncology, neurosurgery, and head & neck cancer. 

About you

To be successful in this position, you will ideally have the following skills and attributes :

• Bachelor’s qualification in Speech Language Therapy or equivalent
• Registered member of the New Zealand Speech-language Therapists’ Association (NZSTA) with current annual practicing certificate (APC)
• Excellent communicator, with a can-do attitude and an innovative approach to problem solving
• An interest in adult dysphagia and communication difficulties
