Habit Health’s Queenstown clinic on Grant Road is looking for a dedicated Speech Language Therapist who will work with other allied health team members to support their clients in their rehabilitative care. This role will see the successful candidate providing specialised communications assessment and treatment for our clients.

This is a full-time role but we may consider part-time hours for the right candidate

 Main responsibilities:

  • Assess, develop and implement rehabilitation solutions within contracted timeframes 
  • Liaise with other allied health team members across a multidisciplinary team
  • Create patient reports on client abilities, goals and best practice intervention
  • Be prepared to supervise new graduate staff or students if applicable

The ideal candidate:

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Language Therapy or similar
  • Current member of the NZ Speech Language Therapy Association
  • Dysphagia experience would be beneficial
  • Ability to work and enjoy working autonomously
  • Full NZ Driver’s license for community rehabilitation
  • Excellent communication skills – you will be meeting new and varied people every day!
