Survey Participant Recruitment Request: Paediatric Cleft Speech Intervention

My name is Kiera Welsh, and I am a final year student of BSc Honours in Clinical Speech and Language Studies programme at Trinity College Dublin. I am conducting a piece of research about direct speech interventions used by Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs)/Pathologists’ (SLPs) for school-aged children with cleft lip and/or cleft palate for my final year project.

My supervisor is Éadaoin Flynn (eadaoin.flynn@tcd.ie).

This research is a short survey (5-10 minutes) that will capture SLTs’ anonymous clinical experiences. I am conducting this study to identify the current intervention strategies for this vulnerable group of children while exploring challenges in their implementation across various clinical settings.
