Therapy Network a leading paediatric speech and language therapy service working collaboratively with schools across Central London. Caseloads are diverse with students presenting with a range of SLCN and most pupils have English as an additional language.

Our biggest motivation at the beginning of each new contract is the anticipation of the positive effect intervention will have upon the children and teachers we work with.

The team has a strong research focus, with independent speech therapists involved with various research studies and projects at leading universities.  World-class research underpins clinical practice; supporting teachers, supporting children to highest standards.

We are recruiting creative and dynamic SLTs at all levels to join our vibrant mainstream primary & secondary school service in Central London (Zone 2) throughout academic year 2022/ 2023.

We encourage applications from therapists overseas, as sponsorship is offered at Tier 2 level.

London is a truly diverse, friendly, fun and cosmopolitan city with easy access to mainland Europe. The city is 60mins from Paris via Eurostar and most other European capital cities are 1-2hrs away via air.

Job Description

  • Management of a small caseload across primary and/or secondary schools.
  • Plan, execute and monitor communication therapy programmes for individuals and small groups of pupils with special educational needs at a specialist level, targeted and universal level.
  • Contribute to learning activities and teaching programmes for pupils with special educational needs.
  • Monitor, assess, record and report on the impact of speech and language therapy programmes.
  • Liaise with class co-ordinators, teaching assistants, assistants, or volunteers.
  • The speech and language therapist will be required to ensure pupils safety.
  • Liaise with other professionals, parents and carers outside the school
  • Write EHCP, Assessment & Summary/Update reports.
  • Contribute towards inset days for other staff, where applicable.
  • Follow therapeutic programmes linked to local and national learning strategies, such as literacy.


  • 12 months fixed term contracts will be awarded on a full and part time basis with work from home available.
  • £30,000 per annum paid either under our employee scheme or through the therapists own Sole Trader/Limited company status.
