Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is a busy sub-regional integrated health service of 241 beds and is the major referral facility for the greater part of North East Victoria. NHW provides a wide range of Acute, Subacute, Community, Primary Care and Specialist Residential Aged Care Services. They are currently seeking to recruit a new Speech Pathologist to the organisation.
An integral part of NHW is the Speech Pathology team. This first class service provides assessment and therapy services for a range of communication and or swallowing disorders for Acute inpatients, Rehab, Community Health, Outpatient and Residential Aged Care clients.
The primary role of the Speech Pathologist is to be responsible for the planning, implementation, evaluation and delivery of Speech Pathology Services in designated Program areas that are aligned with NHW vision, operational and strategic goals
To be eligible for this role you will hold an approved degree in Speech Pathology that allows you membership of Speech Pathology Australia. Demonstrate clinical experience with an adult case load and ideally have experience in the provision of Speech Pathology supervision to students / staff.
