Speech Language Therapist with a specialisation in stuttering

Due to an increase in demand for our services, we are seeking a speech language therapist to join our team at the Stuttering Treatment and Research Trust (START).  You will be based in Greenlane, Auckland but some work in the community may be required.  Much of our therapy is delivered by telehealth. You will be working with people of all ages who stutter, their families and whanau. Ideally, you will have two to three years of practice as a speech language therapist, with some experience in working with people who stutter and a genuine interest in developing further in this area.  The position is for two to three days a week.

START, a charitable trust, is a specialist organisation, providing treatment and support to people of all ages who stutter, their families and whanau.  We provide individual therapy sessions, a range of groups and courses and community education.    You will be committed to professional development and be expected to develop your practice in the area of stuttering to a high standard. We are looking for a person with a genuine concern for people who stutter.  You will value and contribute to our team ethos, be self-motivated, flexible and committed to working collaboratively in a community-based organisation.
