Speech Language Therapist with a specialisation in stuttering

We are seeking a speech language therapist to join our team at the Stuttering Treatment and Research Trust (START).

It is intended that you will based at both our North Shore and Greenlane clinics, delivering both in person and online therapy.  You will be working with people of all ages who stutter, their families and whanau. Ideally, you will have two to three years of practice as a speech language therapist, with some experience in working with people who stutter and a genuine interest in developing further in this area.  This position is intended to be five days a week, however we would also consider four days a week.

START, a charitable trust, is a specialist organisation, providing therapy and support to people of all ages who stutter, their families and whanau.  We provide individual therapy sessions, a range of groups and courses, social support and community education.  You will be committed to professional development and be expected to develop your practice in the area of stuttering to a high standard. We are looking for a person with a genuine concern for people who stutter.  You will value and contribute to our team ethos, be self-motivated, flexible and committed to working collaboratively in a community-based organisation.
